Airlaid is a cellulose-based nonwoven wiper that is constructed by blowing cellulose onto a latex binding agent. This nonwoven wiper has great absorbency and the capacity to hold liquids. White wipers are ideal for use in wiping applications where detecting grease and grime residue is essential. Not recommended for use in solvent-based wiping, as the latex binding agent may break down.Uses very short fibers like mixtures of wood pulp blown onto a bonding material like latex.
Limited use wipes: use once and dispose
Pros: Highly absorbent, Low cost
Cons: Leaves lint (wood pulp), Not durable, Can’t be used with solvents
