Spunlace wipers are manufactured without the use of binders or chemical adhesives. They are constructed by high-pressure water jets hydroentangling fibers into a synthetic interlace web – also referred to as spun lacing. Wood pulp fibers and a polypropylene interlace web are common components in these wipers, but other fibers and webs can be utilized. This hydroentangling process creates an incredibly strong nonwoven wiper that has extremely good wet and dry strength and is compatible with chemical solvents. Blue color wipers help hide some of the grease and grime resulting in less wiper waste.
