Peakworks® Standard Vertical Lifelines are specially designed from heavy duty 5/8” (16mm) diameter braided rope made using high-strength polysteel that resists cuts and abrasions. Featuring a snap hook compatible with any safety harness D-ring, it also has a back splice at the trailing end to prevent the rope grab from coming off the end of the lifeline. Made of polysteel, an extruded co-polymer fibre, the lifeline yields an extremely high strength with a minimum breaking strength of 6,000 lbs. (27kN), yet is lightweight to carry around, weighing only 3 lbs. Peakworks® Standard Vertical Lifelines are certified to CSA Z259.2.5-2012 and meets or exceeds ANSI Z359.15 standards.
